Let's try this out
Here comes the Megpix photo journal. I take so darn many pictures, and it's hard to figure out what to do with them all.
This image was taken in my garden. It's a peony. It's left over from the previous owners, who lived in the house for 40 years.
It's a digital photo, taken with a Canon 10d. I used a 50mm lens with the aperture set at 2.8, and held it close to the flower without looking through the viewfinder, letting auto-focus have its way. Bug's eye view, sort of.
There's a whole series of them, but this one, with its color depth and evocative petals, might be my favorite.
